We are in need of help to fix to our family vehicle. We have a 16 year old and two 3-yr olds. We have a silver Ford Windstar that is a 1996 and it kept cutting off while we were driving along. I'd be driving and go to make a turn and it would feel like the power steering was out, and then I looked down and the whole van had shut off.  We have put it into the mechanic to have it fixed twice, and they finally figured out that it is an oxygen sensor to the engine? I am not a car person, so I don't what that exactly means, but it will cost around $440 to repair. We just don't have it. It has been broken down now for nearly two months, and our other vehicle, a 1995 Saturn, is just not reliable. We had an air conditioning overflow in the attic a couple of months ago, and the home-owner's insurance picked up a lot of it, but we're still trying to pay the $1000 deductible.  Bills are just kind of mounting up, but if we could just get the van fixed for now that would help a lot.  thanks
